Creating an account on LibraryThing was fast and easy. I found that I spent a lot of time trying to remember all of the books I have in my personal library. Joining LibraryThing is extremely useful for librarians to display their favorite books as well as participating in networking groups.
I looked at the recommended and the local groups. I found out there are several people in Galveston that share the same interest in books. I was also able to find meetings on book talks at local bookstores.
